The Resident Scholarship Program, sponsored by Housing Authority Insurance, Inc., celebrated 10 years of providing scholarships to public and
Section 8 housing residents in 2013. In that time, more than half a million dollars has been awarded to over 200 students. As the number of applications received each year continues to grow, we have decided to automate the application process this year!

Using STARS Online, we will again be offering 50 scholarships worth $2,500 each. The process is simple; go online and visit https://HAIGroup.STARSScholarships Online.com/STARS/default.aspx, select ‘Sign Up’ to create an account, then answer the questions and attach the required documentation. By successfully completing the Scholarship Application process, you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to be awarded one of the $2,500 scholarships.

How to qualify?
You may qualify if you are a high school senior, a current college student, or an adult with a high school diploma or GED, have a GPA of at least 2.0, have been a resident for at least six months of a housing authority that is a Member of Housing Authority Insurance, Inc., and are a US Citizen.
