Fire Prevention Week Poster Contest 2012
This year’s theme is “HAVING 2 WAYS OUT!“
This contest is open to Public Housing Residents and Section 8 Program Participants between the ages of 6 and 18.
There are three prize categories per age group (6-9, 10-14, 15-18).
1st Place $50
2nd Place $30
3rd Place $20

Albany was selected as one of eight cities in New York State to receive state funding to prevent and interrupt violence.
The Albany Housing Authority has joined the Community Coalition to Prevent Violence with community stakeholders, the State University at Albany, and Chicago Cease Fire to implement Operation SNUG, an anti violence program.
The Albany Housing Authority hosted the forum with members of the Chicago Cease Fire program, and members of Albany’s Community Coalition to Prevent Violence.
