Albany County Continuum of Care: Persons with Lived Experience Questionnaire

The CoC is developing a Committee made up of individuals who have experienced homelessness and who are interested in lending their expertise of going through that experience to influencing change and funding decisions for homeless services in Albany County. Your information will remain confidential, and your responses will not be shared outside the use of this Committee’s mission and goals.

Please submit your answers by February 19, 2024

Why we’re collecting this information and why we’re starting this Committee – “Those with lived experiences of homelessness typically have the best understanding of the reality of our work to prevent and end homelessness – both in terms of the problems that exist and the knowledge of the services and interventions that are the most effective solutions. This is why it is so important to meaningfully and intentionally integrate them into the decision-making structure of our work at the system and program level. When we consult the experts, service implementations are made more relevant and responsive.” – HUD exchange
